
Relationship Banker I (Bastrop Branch)

Job Summary
As a Relationship Banker I at Regions, you will provide an exceptional customer experience on the cash line and over the phone, helping customers with transactions, inquiries, and digital banking solutions. You will build personal connections, identify customer needs, and contribute to branch goals.
Primary Responsibilities
Deliver consistent optimal customer experience on the cash line, handling deposits, withdrawals, payments and other teller transactions.
Answer customer inquiries about products and services, fulfill basic servicing requests such as cards, PIN reset, checks and problem resolution.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, staying informed about their relationship with the bank.
Educate customers on consumer products and digital solutions (mobile, online, ATM).
Assist branch and team members with basic tasks to support customer problem resolution.
Refer customers to specialized teams for complex financial needs.
Follow all bank processes, procedures, laws and regulations; support the Branch Manager in ensuring sound banking practices, including operational risk management.
Achieve branch targets by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
May conduct outbound calls using lead lists to educate customers on technology and financial needs.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to work Saturdays as needed.
Ability to handle cash and process transactions.
Strong communication skills in person, by phone, and through electronic channels.
Computer proficiency and ability to type and maintain focus.
Ability to walk, stand and lift up to 20 pounds.
Preferences
One year of banking, cash‑handling, or customer service experience.
Skills and Competencies
Adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Assist customers with digital banking offerings.
Manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Handle large sums of cash.
Strong customer focus and relationship‑building skills.
Position Type Full time
Compensation Pay ranges are job specific. The minimum target is $35,640.99, median $42,192.00. The role is incentive eligible.
