General Responsibilities Travel from 3-6 weeks at a time with appropriate breaks Familiarity with industry standard installation practices Basic IP configuration & networking skills Experience with installing equipment racks, shelves, running and lacing power, ground and signal cables Installing, connectorizing and testing CAT5, LMR, and other coaxial cable for both indoor and outdoor applications Exhibit knowledge on basic RF theory Understand basic antenna design and installation techniques Knowledge of DC theory and voltage and grounding theory tools and power tools Self‑motivated and able to learn efficiently Must be a team player and accept instruction Safety and Regulatory Responsibilities Because of the nature of the work at VIKOR, we are dedicated to and obsessed with safety. All employees are expected to follow all safety and regulatory policies and procedures put in place by VIKOR and OSHA to ensure all team members feel confident and protected during the workday. This includes attending the daily safety meetings, maintaining a clean driving record, and frequently inspecting trucks and equipment. Benefits $40/day per‑diem for meals while traveling. Company provided individual hotel room. Paid major national holidays plus additional paid days off for field staff. Paid vacation and personal time with a graduating scale based on years of service: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 5 years, 5 weeks after 10 years. Crews are likely to work 45-75 hours per week with overtime paid at time and a half. Company trucks only used.
