This project will restore Chanticleer as one of the finest golf experiences in the region. Greenville Country Club also operates the Riverside Course, creating a dynamic multi-course environment with a robust year-round golf program.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of the reopening and relaunch of the Chanticleer Course while working within a progressive golf operation. The position offers valuable experience in tournament operations, merchandising, instruction, and team leadership while working closely with the Head Golf Professional and golf operations team.
Greenville Country Club is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional member service and contributing to a high-level golf operation. Opportunities for instruction and player development programming are available for professionals interested in growing their teaching business.
Responsibilities
Assist with tournament operations utilizing Golf Genius software
Provide exceptional service and professional engagement with members and guests
Support daily golf shop operations including tee sheet management and point-of-sale systems
Assist in managing and maintaining the practice facilities
Provide private instruction, group clinics, and player development programming
Support golf initiatives including clinics, camps, and leagues
Assist with club fitting and equipment sales
Track and verify daily play including guest play, cart usage, and member charges
Assist with merchandise planning, purchasing, and inventory management
Help supervise and train golf shop and outside services staff
Support league play and club tournament programming
Promote club events, programs, and services to members
Maintain a professional image and represent the club at the highest standard
