The primary focus of this role will be to lead the worship arts on Sunday mornings, and oversee the current two worship teams and media teams in place. This person will be tasked with identifying, recruiting, developing, and adding new team members in every area. It will be essential for the right candidate to have a deep personal life in Christ with the character to align with the church’s overall mission and vision, and will get to collaborate with a team of 4 other pastors, and a half dozen other staff members as well. Below are the qualifications and responsibilities identified for this role: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Spiritual and Team Leadership Model authentic worship, humility, and a teachable spirit both on and off the platform. Support the integration of adults and students as team members into Sunday services through intentional coaching and preparation. Creative and Technical Leadership Be the primary leader of the production team to develop the visual, technical, and musical elements of worship services. Contribute creative ideas for stage design, lighting, and service flow that enhance engagement and spiritual impact. Help recruit, schedule, and train volunteers for audio, lighting, live stream and lyric presentation, fostering a team culture that values excellence and simplicity. Work alongside staff members and volunteers to evaluate and streamline systems in areas such as Planning Center, ProPresenter, Lightkey, and audio workflows. Kid & Teen Worship Development Help to build and equip adults, teens, and kids who can serve to lead worship for kid and teen ministry environments. Identify, recruit, and develop student worship leaders and musicians, equipping them to serve confidently within student services and, over time, in Sunday morning environments. Create a clear student development pathway that includes mentorship, rehearsal structure, and leadership opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS: A mature, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle that reflects biblical character and integrity. A clear calling to worship ministry as one part of the overall ministry of a local church, and one who celebrates the partnerships with other pastors and ministry leaders to collaborate and live life with. Strong vocal and instrumental ability

(guitar or keys required: both would be excellent!) Creative mindset with the ability to plan and execute meaningful worship experiences. Proficiency or familiarity with modern worship tools such as Planning Center, ProPresenter, Lightkey, and front of house sound system skillset. Organized and reliable, with clear communication and follow-through. Relational and approachable leader who is humble, teachable, and passionate about developing others. Alignment with Fusion’s theological and cultural values, including its Wesleyan denominational and evangelical convictions. Education No college degree required, though Bachelor’s preferred. Experience No ministry credentials required, but future credentialing interest is sought. No full-time ministry experience is required, but demonstrated experience leading worship in a modern, band-driven setting is necessary (volunteer, internship, or residency experience accepted). References will be needed. COMPENSATION: Based on experience and education, but this is intended initially as a 3/4 time ministry role of 30 hours a week, with a pay scale between $40,000-$50,000, and the intent to increase to full time over the next few years.
