We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Account Executive to join our growing team! If you love finding new business opportunities and managing relationships with existing clients, this is the job for you! You will be directly responsible for the maintenance and expansion of our international customer base.


In this role, you will create business plans, organize client meetings, develop sales and marketing strategies to find new potential business and establish best practices across the board.


Job responsililities will include, but are not limited to, the following:


Sales & Strategic Planning Lead

  • Prospect and pitch new markets across the globe, researching and securing direct channels of sales opportunity.
  • Handle all sales from start to finish so as to meet and exceed sales targets (processing orders, tracking orders on internal system, making sure deliveries are on time).
  • Maintain profitable global distributor relationships; interview, contract, and onboard new distributors as needed.
  • Craft communication that tells our brand stories, local markets and help with region-specific brand launches and product launches in each market.
  • Work with Operations and Production on international fulfillment, managing shipping, duties, customs, logistics, etc.
  • Develop targets and strategies for developing business and achieving division sales goals and manage to those expectations.
  • Merchandise an assortment from mail collection, appropriate for each market and work with leadership to optimize stock levels and minimize liability.
  • Create a culture of success and ongoing goal-oriented team dynamic.
  • Implement recovery strategies for declining accounts and lost sales.
  • Manage the international team and resources for division to deliver profitable growth and customer satisfaction
  • Manage budgets to maximize ROI (trade show, majors’ giveback, sales travel).
  • Work with Marketing team to ensure division is receiving all necessary collateral as per seasonal calendar, including product images.
  • Compile reporting in formats that are consistent across divisions and compliant with company standard.


Merchandising/Design/Planning/Production – Support

  • Work with the Design and Planning teams to create hindsight, market research, projections, and SKU plans seasonally, keeping in mind long term business growth and ROI.
  • Analyze seasonal business by tracking sales information in order to identify opportunities to improve assortments and sell through (recuts, strategy to sell off liability stock).
  • Plan and organize seasonal sales meetings.


Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3-5 years experience as Account Executive within the denim industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of global sales, operations, and logistics.
  • Active network of global direct sales channels.
  • Deep understanding of region-specific needs and points of differentiation.
  • Proficiency with Retail Math and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills.
  • Mandatory Travel – 50 to 75%
