Location: Colorado (Candidates must currently reside in Colorado or be open to relocation)

Travel: Approximately 50%

Most travel within 2-3 hours of the Denver Metro


We are conducting a confidential search for a Regional Account Executive to drive revenue growth and expand market share within a designated Colorado territory. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities while managing and growing existing accounts across public safety and government verticals. The ideal candidate will bring a consultative sales approach, strong relationship-building skills, and experience navigating government purchasing environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and market share within assigned territory
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Develop and expand relationships with existing accounts to drive continued growth
  • Prospect and secure new business opportunities across public safety and government verticals
  • Deliver sales presentations and solution-based proposals to decision-makers
  • Collaborate with inside sales and leadership to execute territory strategy and forecasting
  • Participate in industry trade shows, customer meetings, and territory planning initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key vendors and partners
  • Manage sales pipeline and activity within CRM tools
  • Travel throughout territory (approximately 50%)


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred
  • Prior outside sales or large account management experience required
  • Experience selling into government agencies or public safety organizations preferred
  • Familiarity with government bids, RFPs, and procurement processes strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with executive-level stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and pipeline management skills
  • Analytical mindset with ability to develop pricing and profitability strategies
  • Experience using CRM tools and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
