Futures Clearing Specialist

Overview:
We are seeking a Futures Operations Consultant with strong, hands-on experience across core futures operations functions. This role requires someone who can step in quickly, operate in a fast-paced environment, and contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up.
Key Responsibilities: Perform daily futures operations activities including reconciliations, point balance, and margin processing Support customer clearing processes across futures and options products Manage lifecycle events including futures and options contract expirations Investigate and resolve breaks across trading, clearing, and settlement workflows Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate trade capture, allocation, and processing Utilize GMI for clearing, reconciliation, and operational workflows Assist with process improvements and ensure operational controls are adhered to Requirements: Proven experience in futures operations within a financial services or capital markets environment Strong knowledge of reconciliations, point balance, margin, and customer clearing processes Hands-on experience supporting futures and options contract expirations Experience working with GMI (FIS Global Trade Clearing) is required Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational breaks independently Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
