Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must-Have** 1. Indepth domain knowledge of US Capital Markets 2. Proficient in different asset classes (Listed equities, fixed income, physical securities, derivatives etc.) in US markets. 3. Experience and Subject Matter Experrtise of the the key processing requirements around a. CCP processing for nettling, clearance, novation and obligations b. Equity clearing and Listed Options clearing c. Allocation and contract note generations d. Confirmation /Affirmation process e. OMGEO CTM / OASYS processing f. Net obligation Payment g. OCC collateral pledging and Repo processing capabilities h. DTC/FED Settlements 4. Experience in International settlement capabilities via CCP and others, including Multi-Currency asset keeping and associated processing 5. Understanding of market nuances to enable Identification and documentation and mapping of High-level requirements around market requirements for US market functionalities 6. Lead the due diligence client workshop discussions from a market practice and operational requirements perspective 7. Define, maintain, and track to completion the enhancements to existing process as well as gaps with reference to US market practice 8. Solution approach review and approval of the approach meeting the market requirements as per market requirements. 9. Good communication skills and willingness to travel 10. Strong analytical and problem solving capability 11. Ability to translate regulations and market rules into system logic 12. Excellent stakeholder communication (business & technical) Good-to-Have 1. Experience in Software Development Life cycle/Methodologies 2. Exposure of working in Product Companies
SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role 1 13. Act as SME for DTCC entities and services, including: a. DTC (Depository Trust Company) b. NSCC (National Securities Clearing Corporation) c. FICC (GSD & MBSD Government & Mortgage-Backed Securities) 14. Provide expertise on: a. Trade lifecycle: Trade capture Comparison Netting Settlement b. CNS (Continuous Net Settleme nt) processing c. ID Net / Balance Order Accounting d. Stock loan, repo, Pledge ,collateral , DRS and DWAC processing 15. Support DTCC message standards, including: a. ISO 15022 (MT54x, MT56x) b. ISO 20022 (MX migration and coexistence) 16. Act as SME for Federal Reserve cash settlement mechanisms, including: a. Fedwire Securities Service 17. Act as an SME for the business requirements, discuss with customer the market naunaces, manage customer requirement and enable solution alignment as per Regulatory & Market Practice a. SEC, FINRA, and Federal Reserve regulations impacting settlements b. Reg SHO, settlement discipline, fails management c. DTCC mandatory reclaims, fails charges, and liquidity risk management d. Fed operational risk and resiliency guidelines 18. Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to: a. Define business requirements and functional specifications b. Review solution designs for DTCC/Fed alignment c. Validate settlement models during platform modernization 19. Functional & Messaging Knowledge of a. ISO 15022 (MT54x, MT56x, MT5xx) b. ISO 20022 MX settlement messages c. SWIFT, DTCC connectivity, Fedwire formats d. DTC Legacy ISO 20022 migration programs e. DTCC modernization and Fed infrastructure changes 20. Provide sign off on: a. Business rules b. Settlement logic c. Exception and repair workflows 21. Client & Stakeholder Engagement by being a senior SME in Client workshops and solution walkthroughs
Salary Range: $120,000 to $140,000 per year
