WHY WE THINK YOU WILL LOVE THIS ROLE

We are looking for a Sr. Content Strategist who can help lead our content strategy and E‑commerce capabilities within the team. You should have a deep understanding of online purchasing behaviors across social and E‑commerce, with a strong focus on Gen Z. You should be passionate about connecting brands to consumers at the point of purchase, while generating cultural insights with depth and human truths at their core. All candidates should be comfortable leading full‑scale strategy assignments with Fortune 100 clients, developing content strategies, and managing and developing junior level strategy talent.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATION

Work directly with the Director, Experience strategy to build high performing e‑com focused content across a variety of categories including beauty and kitchenware

Keep the team informed of rapidly changing behaviors across online shopping culture

Understand the relationship between content and purchasing behaviour on a variety of E‑commerce platforms including Amazon, Walmart, and TikTok shop

Brief creative teams to elevate brand presence across product detail pages and A+ content

Analyse competitive content strategies and E‑commerce content to identify white space

Guide production shoots and video content creation with sharp insights and best practices

Build strategy plans, communication hierarchies, segmentation, and white papers of varying complexity while still being understandable by non‑marketers

Utilize AI tools to expedite content audits and reduce time to insight

Understand SEO/GEO best practices and experience working with SEO strategists to implement optimisations into content

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE

3-5 years working directly in content strategy and E‑commerce strategy

Agency experience required

Experience digging into data and research and locating actionable insights

Experience using AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, ChatGPT, etc.

Experience managing and developing junior level strategy talent

Experience working with creative teams by participating in concepting/brainstorming sessions and translating ideas

Should be able to present complex ideas clearly

Fantastic presenter and storyteller

Strong interpersonal skills

Unafraid to dive into new platforms and acquire new knowledge

Experiencing marketing to Gen Z on digital platforms

Any of the following would be a plus

SEO and GEO experience

Influencer content and marketing strategy

Experience within beauty and kitchenware category

Starting salary between $100,000-$105,000
