Sybil Mobile Notary, a progressive growing company that encourages you to be independent while controlling your own life balance. You will work as a full‑time or part‑time, independent contractor and control your own schedule and work expenses. GeneralNotary Publics (GNP) may handle private individuals, private and commercial companies, and provide notary services for federal, city and state awarded government contracts.
Notary Duties & Responsibilities
Being present at the time of document execution (including traveling to clients’ homes and businesses, performing notarizations in our office locations, or remotely (RON))
Verifying the identification of signers, witnesses, and participants
Handling document execution (legally binding signatures)
Affirming the state of mind of all signers
Identifying fraud or coercion
Administering oaths
Handling affidavits, contracts, loan documents, court hearings, marriage certificates, and other legal documents
Bearing witness to items within a safe deposit box or the equivalent
Maintaining a notary journal as required by your commissioned state
Scheduling notary appointments
Attending SMN trainings and required events
Accepting or declining new job orders and following the rules of SMN and its clients
Requirements
Current KansasNotary commission required
NNA Certifications preferred
Meets all the state’s requirements to be a commissioned notary
High school diploma or equivalent
Familiarity with legal and loan documents
Flexibility and professionalism are a must
Great verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work independently and on a team
RON Certified notaries are a plus
Ability to speak and read other languages is desired
