Residence Life Student Videographer – Jr. Videographer Job Description The primary duty of the Student Videographer is to create visually appealing videos to satisfy requirements of different Residence Life projects. These videos should adhere to Missouri State branding standards and generate publicity for the department. The Student Videographer will collaborate with team members in a creative environment for larger undertakings. Responsibilities include producing photos and a range of longer promotional and informational videos, as well as short pieces for social media, web content and marketing purposes.

Job Details

Work location: Springfield Campus.

Salary: $15.00 per hour.

Hours per week: 15‑20 hours, Monday‑Friday 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. with some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Experience with computer design tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro.

Good communication and ability to work on a team.

Knowledge of current video trends and practices.

Previous professional video experience is preferred but not required.

Experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign is preferred but not required.

Must meet Student Employee Handbook requirements.

Must have availability between 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. Monday‑Friday and some evening and weekend availability.
