A company is looking for a Director of Collections, Recovery & Loss Mitigation Oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide independent oversight of collections, recovery, and loss mitigation strategies, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and regulatory expectations Monitor collections and recovery performance and evaluate vendor management practices Ensure adherence to consumer protection laws and support regulatory exams and audits related to collections and recovery
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in consumer lending, credit risk, collections, recoveries, or loss forecasting Experience in a 2LOD risk management, model risk, or audit function Demonstrated expertise in collections and recovery strategies Working knowledge of U.S. consumer banking regulations Experience interacting with regulators, internal audit, or compliance functions preferred
