We offer a hybrid 3‑2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary Dominion Energy is looking for a Disbursements Representative I or II to join our team. The single position will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Note: Please disregard references to Disbursements Representative III level since the position is being filled at the Disbursements Representative I or II level.

Responsibilities The incumbent in this role performs processing functions as it relates to disbursement operations and policies as well as accounts payable processing options. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Utilize automated accounting and billing systems to review, analyze, and route invoices for payment.

Reject invoices when incorrectly billed and/or insufficient information is provided.

Ensure invoices are accurately billed based on Purchase Order (PO) terms and conditions, if applicable.

Act as the first‑line customer service contact, researching and resolving problems related to invoice payment status.

Train and communicate with vendors and business unit partners, assisting with inquiries and reconciliation, especially regarding labor and equipment charges in billing systems.

Partner with BU Operating Group Requisitioners, Supply Chain Buyers, and Vendor contacts regarding PO issues; assist BU Performance Reviewers, Admins, and Service Entry Processors on using SAP and other billing systems.

Prepare 1099 forms across the fleet for submittal to the IRS, if required.

Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Minimum Requirements Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year toward the qualifications.

Disbursement Rep I: 0–2 years of related working experience.

Disbursement Rep II: 2 or more years of related working experience.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Basic working knowledge of accounting principles and business math.

Job‑specific application of company automated accounting systems and company policies and procedures.

Knowledge of the company, its business units, departments, and pay processes.

Ability to coordinate, process, and control large volumes of work quickly and accurately.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Education Requirements Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of the preferred level of education: Associate’s degree.

Preferred disciplines: Finance, Accounting, Business.

Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.

Working Conditions Travel up to 25%.

Test Description No testing required.
