About the Role The Leasing Agent plays a key role in supporting day-to-day property operations by helping fill vacancies, guiding prospective residents through the leasing process, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is a full-time, non-exempt position ideal for someone who is personable, organized, and comfortable using technology.
This role is responsible for managing inquiries, conducting tours, supporting leasing activities, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for prospects and residents. No prior leasing experience is required—training is provided—but a strong customer service mindset is essential.
Key Responsibilities Leasing & Marketing
Schedule and conduct in‑person and virtual property tours
Showcase community features and apartment amenities
Guide applicants through the leasing and application process
Prepare and explain lease agreements and documentation
Manage and update online listings and marketing materials
Support marketing efforts, including social media and outreach
Customer Service & Resident Experience
Greet and assist prospective residents in a professional and friendly manner
Provide accurate information on availability, pricing, and lease terms
Respond to phone, email, and online inquiries promptly
Deliver a positive and seamless pre‑move‑in experience
Assist with lease renewals and move‑in coordination
Operations & Administrative Duties
Prepare units for showings and ensure readiness
Conduct property inspections for cleanliness and presentation
Maintain accurate records of leads, applications, and leases
Collect and document application fees, deposits, and rent payments
Update leasing systems and databases
Support reporting on leasing activity and performance metrics
Compliance & Communication
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations
Communicate effectively with residents, team members, and leadership
Maintain professional and clear documentation of all interactions
Qualifications Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience & Skills
Leasing, customer service, or sales experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Comfortable using computers, mobile apps, and digital platforms
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management skills
Friendly, dependable, and self‑motivated
Willingness to learn leasing processes and property management systems
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $20–$22 per hour
Schedule: 8‑hour shifts, Monday–Friday. Occasional overtime as needed
