A company is looking for an Underwriter II (Marine) to support their Marine team in evaluating and processing marine insurance applications.
Key Responsibilities
Adhere to underwriting guidelines and execute pricing strategies to maintain profitability Approve or decline insurance applications and issue coverage based on established limits Document underwriting files and collaborate with the underwriting team to finalize coverage
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required Minimum 3 years of underwriting or related insurance experience required Marine underwriting background is a plus Professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, or CRIS are advantageous Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software quickly
