Key Responsibilities
Completes underwriting trainings and shadows experienced underwriters Evaluates basic accounts for risk selection and pricing purposes Communicates with agents and collaborates with marketing representatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in insurance or business administration, or equivalent experience Preferred insurance designations such as AINS, AU, CIC, or CPCU Basic knowledge of underwriting and risk analysis preferred Ability to work effectively both independently and with others Good computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
