Key Responsibilities
Execute underwriting tasks, manage complex appeals, and resolve application discrepancies Lead compliance audits and ensure adherence to carrier and regulatory guidelines Act as the primary technical point of contact for carrier inquiries and manage data vendor audits
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in underwriting within Insurance or Financial Services Deep understanding of FCRA, OFAC, MIB coding, and medical impairment risk evaluation Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with underwriting workbooks and Admin Portals Strong analytical skills to investigate data and audit complex files Proven ability to draft legally compliant correspondence and manage relationships with external carriers
