Key Responsibilities
Underwrite Government and Conventional loans by reviewing credit, capacity, and collateral characteristics Manage individual pipeline, completing underwriting reviews and conditions reviews within defined turn times Assist department colleagues in interpreting underwriting guidelines and updating loan statuses and conditions
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in the Mortgage Industry or Residential Mortgage Loan underwriting High school diploma required Advanced knowledge of residential mortgage industry, including regulatory and compliance obligations Advanced knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA Guidelines Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products and Encompass
