Key Responsibilities
Analyze borrower information, including credit, income, and assets, for thorough evaluations Review appraisals to ensure compliance with guidelines and validate property values Monitor the mortgage pipeline to ensure timely closing dates are met
Required Qualifications
DE and SAR designations are mandatory Minimum of 5 years of mortgage-related and underwriting experience Two or four-year college degree or equivalent professional experience in business or finance Deep knowledge of FHA, VA, and agency underwriting guidelines Experience with analyzing financial documents such as pay stubs, W-2s, and tax returns
