A company is looking for a Coding Specialist II who provides training and leadership to junior coding staff.
Key Responsibilities
Provides training, mentoring, and leadership to Coding Specialist I employees Performs coding functions by reviewing and analyzing patient medical records and assigning appropriate codes Conducts reviews of coding and billing errors, making necessary adjustments based on medical documentation
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred AAPC or AHIMA Coding Certification is required 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred Experience in CPT and ICD coding is preferred Proficiency in MS Office or similar software is required
