
Senior Proposal Coordinator - AEC

Established in 1900, Mead & Hunt is a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm. We have a full‑time position available for a Senior Proposal Coordinator to work with our transportation infrastructure group. Ideal locations include Tampa, FL; Lexington, SC; Columbia, MD; North Charleston, SC; Orlando, FL; Raleigh, NC; Washington, DC; and Madison, WI.
Responsibilities
Lead the proposal development process, including kickoff meetings, content creation, strategic input for project and team, layout and design, and close‑out/archiving.
Prepare and guide pursuit interviews.
Develop marketing materials and content.
Lead award submissions.
Develop and manage the annual marketing plan schedule and budget for identified business unit(s).
Coordinate business development calls and provide appropriate reports.
Organize and attend tradeshows and conferences.
Manage client feedback and satisfaction surveys.
Some travel may be required for conferences, events, and team training.
The successful candidate must have the following:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, advertising, public relations, or related field and at least four (4) years of relevant experience.
OR an associate degree in marketing or related field and at least six (6) years of relevant experience.
OR no degree and at least eight (8) years of relevant experience.
Experience in the architectural/engineering industry or another technical service industry is a plus.
Ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:
Leading proposal submissions (RFP/RFQs) and interview teams.
Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; and CRM databases (Vision or AEC360 preferred).
Previous experience in the AEC industry: familiarity with Transportation/Infrastructure.
Excellent interpersonal, time‑management, and organizational skills.
Excellent grammar and writing skills, including familiarity with the AP Style Guide.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, continuously changing environment while maintaining tight deadlines.
Proven organization, problem‑solving, communication, and interactive skills.
Ability to understand and write about technical issues and related terminology.

Salary Range: $73,000 to $97,000 – Actual compensation may vary due to experience, skill set, or location.
