Job Overview
Established law firm in central Omaha has an immediate opening for a full‑time Client Intake Specialist. Knowledge of the law is not required; full on‑hand training will be provided. The position requires at least one year of experience in sales or customer service. Responsibilities include handling legal intakes, gathering detailed, fact‑specific information about potential client cases, and providing excellent customer service.
Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, and a retirement package. Pay is $20–$26 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
Excellent customer service and empathy
Maintain confidence on the phone
Manage initial consultation calls and emails
Track client calls for marketing research
Collect and assemble data for business management purposes as assigned by Managing Partner
Maintain calendars and schedule initial consultations for attorneys
Maintain confidentiality in all matters
Build and maintain relationships with clients, outside attorneys, judges, court staff and outside administrative professionals
Other special projects as needed
Requirements
At least one year of sales and customer service experience
Conveys confidence and positivity when dealing with clients
Ability to remain calm and composed in a high‑stress environment
Ability to provide empathy and be non‑judgmental when speaking with clients
Punctual and responsible
Professional appearance and behavior
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Detail‑oriented with the ability to multi‑task and manage priorities
Must pass a criminal background check
Must be able to work from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
