Overview
Panel Builder II at Evolution Motion Solutions. Responsible for laying out and building electrical panels to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
Review electrical prints to identify layout or issues
Audit work instructions for any special requirements
Compare kitted parts to bill of material (BOM) for discrepancies and report to lead
Assemble electrical plates and enclosures from build prep per documentation
Assemble electrical components, controllers, etc. per documentation
Wire components utilizing color/gauge, ferrules, cables, tags, and required identification according to print
Field work at customer site; install and service
Foster a positive team environment by assisting co-workers
Follow quality standards, comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Keep a clean and safe working environment; optimize space utilization
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education : High school diploma or equivalent; Technical or vocational is a plus
Experience : Minimum of three years’ experience in a related field
Skills & Abilities :
Precise attention to detail
Able to operate and use power tools
Some knowledge of electrical and mechanical drawings
Basic understanding of measurement equipment
Clear communication skills
Ability to work independently
Physical Demands & Work Environment Typically, the employee will stand or sit to do the work with movement between areas; may transport small parts. Position may require long periods of sitting while driving or riding to customer sites. Work is on a general production floor, including warehouses and manufacturing facilities. Work outside normal business hours may be required.
Location Headquartered in Farmers Branch, TX with additional offices in multiple states. This position will be based out of the Auburn Hills, MI facility.
