MedTech Sales – Territory Manager (Neurovascular Division) – North Los Angeles area. Locations: Los Angeles, CA and Santa Barbara, CA.
Job Summary We are searching for the best talent to serve as a Territory Manager, responsible for expanding sales of Johnson & Johnson MedTech – Neurovascular products, training on proper surgical use, addressing customer inquiries, maintaining and expanding accounts, building new accounts, developing strong customer relationships, and meeting sales quotas.
Key Responsibilities
Expand sales of Johnson & Johnson MedTech – Neurovascular Division products and convert competitive products in accordance with company policy and sales direction.
Understand and demonstrate proper surgical use of products to physicians.
Handle customer product questions and objections consistent with sales training methodology.
Maintain and expand current accounts, build new accounts, develop strong customer relationships, and meet quotas for a variety of products.
Execute the selling cycle in a concise, professional, ethical, and persuasive manner to guide customers to action.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare or B2B sales experience.
Minimum of 2 years of Medical Device sales experience preferred.
Neurovascular experience preferred.
Experience selling to surgeons in operating rooms or radiology suites preferred.
Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to relocate and reside within the assigned territory.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Certifications, Licenses and Affiliations
Exempt position requiring ability to establish an effective work schedule with frequent disruptions and flexible hours.
Knowledge of healthcare industry, medical device industry, disease states, and therapeutic and institutional trends.
Sales experience in neurovascular space and/or medical device field preferred.
Successful completion of company training programs.
Valid driver’s license in state of residence, advanced computer skills, and multitasking ability without direct oversight.
Additional Position Requirements
Willingness to travel overnight locally, regionally, and nationally up to 40%.
Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
Periodic presence in heavy machinery environments; ability to lift up to 40 lbs; ability to wear heavy lead protective aprons and other safety equipment in lab environment.
