Overview The Marketing Craft Development & Capabilities team is seeking a Principal Marketing Manager (Contract) to lead high-impact strategic workstreams.
This role partners closely with executives to codify The Way of Marketing, bringing clarity, consistency, and cohesion to our global marketing ecosystem, while defining shared Ways of Working across Platform and GBSG marketing teams.
You will serve as the subject matter expert for the Marketer of the Future initiative, embedding modern marketing rigor, GenAI, and scalable frameworks into our marketing DNA.
What You Will Do 1. Ways of Working (WoW) Strategy & Process Design
Refine and codify WoW frameworks and artifacts to drive alignment and scalable execution.
Standardize core GTM artifacts (e.g., MRDs, GTM strategies) across GTM phases.
Facilitate stakeholder sessions to surface gaps, align expectations, and validate new processes.
2. Craft Academy & Capability Building
Serve as primary SME for the Marketer Craft Academy, developing curriculum that codifies best practices in partnership with learning experience designers.
Lead launch of foundational Core courses and support development of Applied and Advanced tracks.
Partner with GenAI experts to build AI-enabled learning tools and “always-on” coaching experiences.
3. Executive Partnership & Cross-Functional Influence
Act as a strategic thought partner to senior marketing leaders, translating complexity into actionable strategies.
Partner across marketing, product, research, analytics, sales, and operations to align on improved ways of working.
Drive adoption through change management, storytelling, and feedback loops aligned to our DNA.
4. Performance & Continuous Improvement
Define and track success metrics (e.g., adoption, NPS, business impact).
Continuously iterate on learning experiences to maximize adoption and value.
Stay current on industry trends to evolve marketing craft and workflows.
What You Will Bring
10+ years of experience in Brand, Product, or Performance Marketing within a matrixed organization
Proven ability to design frameworks, artifacts, and systems that accelerate GTM execution
Strong strategic and systems-thinking skills with the ability to identify patterns and reduce friction
Deep understanding of end-to-end GTM motions and cross-functional orchestration
Exceptional facilitation and influence with senior leaders and execution teams
Familiarity with GenAI and modern MarTech tools
Bias for action, learning mindset, and passion for solving complex problems with clarity
