Assistant Director of Roads & Properties (Trainee) Upper Saucon Township is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time Assistant Director of Roads and Properties (Trainee) position. This professional, developmental role provides hands-on experience and progressive responsibility in public works operations, including road and facility maintenance, personnel supervision, budgeting, capital projects, regulatory compliance, and emergency response. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of five (5) years of road construction/maintenance experience, and three (3) years of supervisory experience (union environment preferred). Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and heavy equipment operation skills are required. Must be available for 24/7 on-call duty, including snow and emergency response. A valid PA driver’s license is required; Class A CDL (or ability to obtain within six months) is required. This is a non-exempt position with competitive pay and benefits.
