Position Title: Assistant Director, Program Experience
Schedule: 3 days on campus per week, remote flexibility on other days. Full‑time on‑site during program delivery weeks.
Location: Hanover, NH. Remote Eligibility: Hybrid.
Position Purpose With high‑level guidance from executive education leadership and in partnership with staff and faculty, plan and execute world‑class client experience for in‑person, virtual, and hybrid executive education programs. Participate in client relationship management and develop strategies for program execution and improvements.
Responsibilities
Plan and produce professional multi‑day conferences, speaking engagements, education programs, and other complex events for clients with high expectations.
Implement, manage, and improve complex administrative workflows and projects using digital tools.
Strong project management and planning skills.
Work independently and collaboratively in a high operational tempo.
Organize and multitask with keen attention to detail.
Provide excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive relationships with participants, corporate clients, faculty, and other stakeholders.
Support logging and use of CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas).
Use Microsoft Office suite and quickly learn new digital tools as needed.
Will work some evenings and weekends during program sessions; travel domestically or internationally as required.
Assist with budget development, expense monitoring, and cost‑saving opportunities.
Create, coordinate, and manage logistics: venue, accommodations, catering, AV, IT, materials, staffing; ensure seamless execution.
Prepare and distribute program materials and communications; maintain accurate records with CRM.
Serve as primary point of contact for program participants, corporate clients, faculty, and external partners during delivery.
Collaborate with executive education leadership on strategic initiatives and cross‑functional integration.
Support shared departmental functions such as service provider relationships, master calendar management, invoice processing, and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Significant experience planning and producing multi‑day professional events with complex logistics and high‑expectation clients.
Experience managing and improving administrative workflows using digital tools.
Strong project management, planning, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high operational tempo.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends and travel.
Prior experience with event/conference planning.
Experience using CRM and LMS systems (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with customer relationship and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Salesforce).
