Job description: We are seeking another detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget. This role requires strong skills in construction estimating, project management, and effective negotiation with contractors and suppliers. The Estimator will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of construction projects, contributing to our commitment to delivering high-quality results. Pay:

Responsibilities:
* Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects. * Utilize HeavyBid software to develop comprehensive estimates that reflect project requirements. * Collaborate with project managers to ensure that all aspects of the project are accounted for in the estimate. * Conduct thorough cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle to maintain budget adherence. * Negotiate contracts and prices with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms for the company. * Prepare detailed reports outlining estimated costs, timelines, and resource requirements for management review. * Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to each project. * Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and pricing to provide accurate estimates and recommendations.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential. * Proficiency in using estimating software such as ProCore and Bluebeam is preferred. * Strong understanding of cost control principles and contract negotiation techniques. * Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. * Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate estimation processes. * Ability to communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients. * A background in structural steel construction management or a related field is advantageous but not required.
