Job Description
The Assistant Property Manager supports the efficient operation of residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties by handling tenant relations, lease administration, rent collection, and property maintenance tasks. Working closely with a small team of 1-3 members, this role reports to the Property Manager, Owner/Investor, and Bookkeeper. Daily interaction with tenants is essential, along with coordinating vendors and maintaining compliance. The position requires excellent communication skills and knowledge of pre and post walk throughs for tenants to ensure quality tenant experiences.
Responsibilities
* Manage tenant relations and address complaints promptly * Administer lease agreements and ensure compliance * Collect rent and oversee financial reporting * Coordinate property maintenance and vendor services * Support marketing efforts to attract and retain tenants * Schedule and conduct property inspections including pre and post tenant walkthroughs * Maintain accurate records and documentation * Assist with budget management and compliance monitoring
Required Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in property management * Strong knowledge of lease agreements * Proficient in financial reporting * Effective conflict resolution skills * Exceptional customer service abilities * Strong time management and organizational skills * Excellent communication skills * Proficient in Spanish and English * Computer skills, Excel, Word, * Maintaining work flow sheets
