Location: 39th Information Operations Squadron, Detachment 1, Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX.
Salary (TLMS DCIPS): $133,000 – $151,000.

Job Overview Forge the future of cyber warfare at the Air Force’s tip‑of‑the‑spear. As a senior cyberspace operations visionary, you will design and code next‑gen solutions, pioneer curriculum‑as‑code pipelines, and integrate AI and automation into training environments and operations, directly impacting the lethality of the cyber component of the Department of War.
Responsibilities Design and build advanced cyberspace training environments; pioneer novel solutions to replicate complex operational threats; fuse Instructional Systems Design principles with software development (e.g., Python, C/C++) to create custom, high‑fidelity simulation and automation frameworks; author and validate instructional platforms and content; guide military leadership on supervision of technical experts and calibrate civilian performance standards; communicate and negotiate complex technical concepts with senior leaders and external partners; represent the organization in national‑level forums; translate ambiguous strategic requirements from operational partners into concrete development plans.

Drug testing designated position
Mastery‑level knowledge in architecting, engineering, and coding advanced cyberspace training environments, including the ability to pioneer solutions to replicate operational threats and to fuse Instructional Systems Design principles with software development
Expert skill in deconstructing classified operational cyberspace tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and engineering them into high‑fidelity curriculum and simulation scenarios; ability to validate platforms and content against live operational weapon systems
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a highly specialized civilian workforce, guiding military leadership on supervision and calibrating civilian performance standards
Superior skill in communicating and negotiating complex technical concepts with senior leaders and external partners; representing the organization in national‑level forums; translating strategic requirements into concrete development plans
