Global Director, Business Operations

Resilience, Southington, CT, United States

The Hook: Why this role matters now Step into a critical leadership role to scale our global operational infrastructure. As the Global Director of Business Operations, you won't just oversee existing processes; you will completely own the operational rigor, efficiency, and scalability of our business across all international jurisdictions. You will be the architect of change, aligning our people, processes, and technology globally to drive our category‑defining mission forward.

The Mission: What you will achieve in the first 6 months In your first six months, you will take accountability for directing high‑impact global strategic initiatives, coordinating critical planning and process implementations across all operating regions. You will own the definition and creation of global reporting and analysis for both internal stakeholders and external customers. Moving beyond basic management, you will drive operational excellence by cultivating a deep understanding of our processes and implementing aggressive enhancements and standardizations through automation.

Furthermore, you will be completely responsible for establishing and monitoring our global compliance controls to mitigate regulatory risks (including international data privacy standards). You will also proactively partner with IT to direct our technology and infrastructure strategy across all lines of business, including taking ownership of our global Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery initiatives. Ultimately, you will develop the scalability and growth goals that ensure our organization thrives over time.

The Toolkit

Extensive experience leading, architecting, and facilitating multi‑national or global enterprise‑level projects.

Proven understanding and hands‑on experience applying global compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR) directly to business operations.

Relentless ability to drive results, aggressively manage conflicting priorities, and consistently meet strict deadlines.

Experience navigating rapid organizational growth and managing large‑scale technological change across international business lines.

The Culture: How we work We move fast, operate with zero ego, and embrace a bias to action. We are guided strongly by our four core values: transparency, excellence, grit, and humility. You will lead organizational change globally, requiring you to collaborate seamlessly with worldwide business partners to identify, scope, and prioritize key initiatives. We operate with a globally dispersed team; while our headquarters are in San Francisco, we maintain offices in New York, Chicago, Baltimore, Los Angeles, Toronto, and London, supporting a distributed and highly collaborative working style.
