Relationship Manager III – Commercial & Industrial Banking (C&IB)
Location: Baltimore, MD. The role focuses on managing and expanding relationships with corporate clients, driving revenue growth, mitigating risk, and coordinating cross‑functional teams to deliver the full range of PNC banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sets relationship strategies and directs relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients to grow sales, revenue and market share with relevant sales goals. Works independently and may mentor other team members.
Creates and drives strategy to acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet. Handles origination, financial analysis, negotiation, and documentation of credit and non‑credit products and services.
Manages risk/return and drives quality for new and/or existing clients, actively identifying and mitigating regulatory, reputational, operational and credit risks.
Focuses on client opportunities by providing ideas and insights based on an understanding of client needs and financial well‑being; drives client engagement and loyalty; generates best practices and may mentor peers.
Manages an effective network of senior internal and external relationships (e.g., community or industry) to acquire new clients, expand existing ones, and enhance the client experience by presenting the full range of PNC’s products and services.
Demonstrates ability to analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk for complex credit requests, leveraging advanced credit fundamentals and internal credit policies.

Pay Transparency Base Salary: $88,000 – $215,050. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with compensation based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
