About the Role This is an onsite position based in New Jersey, supporting daily import brokerage operations. You will be responsible for preparing and submitting customs entries, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, and working closely with internal teams and clients to facilitate smooth cargo clearance.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit customs entries in compliance with CBP regulations
Review shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
Ensure accurate tariff classification and valuation of goods
Coordinate with customs officials, clients, and internal teams to resolve entry issues
Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and company procedures
Track shipments and ensure timely clearance of cargo
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 1+ year of experience in customs brokerage or import operations
Strong understanding of U.S. Customs entry processes and documentation
Familiarity with tariff classification and basic compliance principles
Experience using brokerage systems (e.g., CargoWise or similar) preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple entries
Clear communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset
