Content Operations Manager, Product Marketing

Job Summary We are seeking a systems‑thinker with a passion for content creation and operational excellence to join our team as a Content Operations Manager. In this role, you’ll build scalable processes and automation to enhance content workflows, ensuring seamless collaboration across creative, marketing, and operational teams. By challenging the way we work, you will drive efficiency and innovation in content production.

Key Responsibilities

Resource & Project Management

Oversee the creative project request process, ensuring creative and video briefs are prioritized, scoped, and resourced accurately.

Manage the allocation of internal creative resources, contractors, and agency partners to proactively manage resource capacity and ensure timely delivery.

Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure on‑time delivery of all initiatives with urgency.

Manage project bids, Statements of Work (SOWs), and vendor invoicing to maintain budgetary control.

Manage file organization to ensure all project source files and final assets are saved to the appropriate DAM repository.

Cross‑Functional Liaison

Partner with the Sr. Manager Content Strategy to align high‑impact projects with company objectives and marketing strategies.

Serve as the primary link between creative teams and product marketing stakeholders.

Communicate effectively to drive clarity, ensuring expectations are clearly understood and met.

Facilitate regular check‑ins and coach teams with actionable feedback to keep all parties aligned.

Operational Excellence

Increase the volume and velocity of content production without sacrificing brand voice, accuracy or quality.

Automate high volume production by implementing solutions to streamline content formatting, localization and distribution.

Continuously evaluate, refine, and create workflows to improve process efficiency and scalability.

Quality & Innovation

Implement quality control (QC) processes at scale for all deliverables, ensuring they meet brand and project standards.

Gather performance metrics and contribute to reporting, providing actionable insights to improve future projects.

Propose and implement process innovations, leveraging AI and automation to enhance content operations.

Qualifications & Technical Skills

Production Expertise: Proven experience managing production workflows across design, photo, and video.

System Mastery: Deep knowledge of modern work management and CMS platforms (e.g., Asana, Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint, Adobe Experience Manager)

AI Tool Proficiency: Hands‑on experience using and operationalizing enterprise AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Jasper, Adobe Firefly, etc.) within content workflows.

Process Design: Proven track record of transitioning large teams from traditional manual workflows to automated, technology‑driven processes.

Detail‑Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all projects.

Problem‑Solving: A proactive approach to identifying challenges and executing collective solutions.

Education While a degree in a related field is advantageous, we value experience and skills over formal education.

Minimum of 8+ years in creative operations or project management in a creative agency, in‑house creative team or marketing function.

Compensation The target salary range for this position is $135,000-150,000. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance‑Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
