
Café Service Representative

Responsibilities and Duties
Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner
Complete knowledge of menu items and daily specials
Process food sales using the cash register and POS machine
Carry out café opening and closing duties for food preparation and cleaning
Maintain a clean dining area and drink bar throughout the day
Cook and prepare menu and daily special items
Abide by all standards established by the American National Standards Institute-Conference for Food Protection
Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns
Monitor food supplies and order replacement items as needed
Competencies
Customer focus – naturally outgoing/extroverted
Communicate with customers and employees in person and on phone
Basic mathematical knowledge
Basic cooking skills
Food safety awareness
Punctual and dependable
Reporting Relationship This position reports to the Café Manager.
Work Environment This position operates in a professional environment and may include exposure to all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non‑moving aircraft.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift 25 pounds
Stand to greet customers during verbal exchanges and walk throughout the facility to interact with customers
Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a non‑exempt position requiring work during evenings, occasional weekends, and scheduled company holidays.
Travel No travel is expected for this position.
Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications
Cooking/customer service experience preferably in the food service industry
High School Diploma or equivalent
Entry‑level position
Ability to work evenings, occasional weekends, and holidays
Acceptable driving record
Ability to pass a background check
