
Strategic Account Rep I
B. Braun Medical Inc. (US), Sacramento, CA, United States
Position Summary
This position covers the Northern California and Northern Nevada territories, with preferred candidates located in the Sacramento, CA or Reno, NV areas. The role involves representing and promoting B. Braun’s IV Systems, Nutrition, and Clinical Procedure products to a variety of healthcare decision‑makers.
Responsibilities
Represent and promote full portfolio of IV Systems, Nutrition products and Clinical Procedure products by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects.
Call on decision makers (e.g., Pharmacists, Nurses, Physicians, Supply Chain Managers, Hospital Administrators) to present products for evaluation and purchase.
Prospect and qualify territory for new leads through sales calls in person and remotely via virtual channels.
Develop and actively maintain a pipeline of sustainable new sales opportunities sufficient to achieve or exceed sales target/quota.
Collaborate with regional team members to grow sales and expand market share.
Work through third parties for product promotion and delivery when required.
Maintain relationships with internal B. Braun departments (Marketing, Technical Services, Customer Service, Region office, ASC support).
Prepare and deliver effective presentations providing solutions to potential customers.
Prepare financial analysis, proposals and competitive analysis for customers and present the information to hospital committees.
Support product evaluations and conversions as necessary.
Other Duties Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time to support overall sales objectives.
Expertise: Knowledge & Skills
Full understanding of relevant business practices, principles, and procedures.
Ability to plan and achieve assigned goals under general supervision.
Capability to resolve day‑to‑day problems and assist with training or reviewing peers when required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
2‑4 years of medical sales experience in the healthcare industry.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Frequent business travel required.
Valid driver's license and passport.
Physical Demands & Work Environment Work involves moderate physical effort, including occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs and frequent lifting of up to 20 lbs. The position is conducted in an office environment with moderate noise intensity.
Compensation & Benefits Salary: $80,000–$90,000 plus incentive compensation. Benefits include healthcare, a 401(k) plan, and tuition reimbursement.
