Position Relationship Banker II

is responsible for meeting with customers and prospects in person and by phone to determine financial needs, and meeting those needs by proactively offering appropriate products, services, and guidance to help achieve financial goals. This role is suitable for candidates with retail or sales experience who are seeking opportunities for growth, development, and upward mobility.

Responsibilities

Achieves branch targets and goals by identifying customer needs and providing appropriate guidance and perspectives about Regions’ solutions.

Conducts outbound phone calls using generated customer and prospect lead lists to expand relationships and acquire new customers.

Educates and advises customers on Regions’ Consumer and Business products and services, including all loan and deposit types.

Educates customers on emerging technology and digital solutions (mobile, online, ATM) to make banking easier.

Provides a consistent, optimal customer experience, including greeting customers and processing transactions to accommodate how they bank.

Owns and resolves customer issues; refers complex goals to internal experts when needed.

Follows bank processes and procedures and adheres to applicable laws and regulations, including duties assigned by the Branch Manager; assists in managing operational risks as part of the branch team.

This position requires tracking time for hours worked in excess of 40 per week and is eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position is incentive eligible. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to work Saturdays as needed

Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions

Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels

Ability to use a computer frequently, including typing and sustained monitor attention

Ability to walk and stand for extended periods

Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds

Preferences

Bachelor’s degree

Life Insurance License

One (1) year of cash-handling, banking, and/or customer service experience

Skills And Competencies

Adherence to policies, procedures, and guidelines

Ability to assist customers with digital banking offerings

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Ability to oversee large sums of cash

Excellent relationship-building skills

Strong communication and customer focus

Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and serve as a market reference. Pay varies by factors including experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, location, and performance. The following targets are based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range where the position is located and the level of the position:

Minimum Job Range Target: $41,508.18 USD

Median $49,644.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans This role is eligible to participate in a commission incentive plan and may earn incentives based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
