About the Opportunity
FirstFour Staffing is recruiting on behalf of a well-established commercial construction company seeking experienced Superintendents to support ongoing remodel projects. These are fast-paced, high-visibility projects requiring strong leadership, organization, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts on active job sites.
Position Overview The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within scope. This role requires a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑track retail remodel environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily on-site operations for commercial construction projects
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
Maintain project schedules and ensure deadlines are met
Enforce safety standards and maintain compliance with all regulations
Conduct site meetings and provide progress updates to project stakeholders
Monitor quality control and ensure work meets project specifications
Resolve issues quickly to keep projects moving forward
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
Experience with retail remodels (Retail or Grocery store experience is a plus)
Proven ability to manage fast‑paced, deadline‑driven projects
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Willingness to travel or work flexible hours as project demands require
OSHA certification is a plus
