Employee Relations Specialist

As we continue to grow across multiple states, we are seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to serve as the centralized expert and owner of employee relations, investigations, and employment compliance.
This is a critical, high‑impact role designed to bring consistency, clarity, and risk mitigation to how employee matters are handled across our organization.

Requirements What You’ll Do
Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee relations matters, managing cases from intake through resolution
Lead and oversee investigations (harassment, misconduct, retaliation), ensuring thorough and defensible documentation
Review and guide disciplinary actions and approve terminations to ensure consistency and compliance
Identify and mitigate risk related to employee actions (wage & hour, retaliation, termination)
Interpret and apply company policies across a multi‑state environment
Support ADA accommodations, unemployment processes, and partner with legal counsel as needed
Maintain organized, audit‑ready case documentation and support leaders with ER‑related guidance
What You’ll Bring
5+ years of experience in employee relations, investigations, or employment compliance
Strong knowledge of federal and multi‑state employment laws
Experience supporting hourly, multi‑site workforces
Excellent judgment, organization, and attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive situations with a balance of compassion and directness
Preferred
Healthcare, DSO, or other regulated industry experience
Experience working with legal counsel
Familiarity with unemployment and wage & hour risk
Success in This Role
