Partnering with the best As a Nuclear Mechanical Engineer, you design and develop flow‑control equipment for nuclear and industrial applications. You solve complex engineering problems, create CAD models and drawings, generate bills of materials, and develop test plans to meet customer and regulatory requirements. You collaborate with global, cross‑functional teams to support manufacturing, testing, sales, and field service while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and internal engineering practices.

As a Nuclear Mechanical Engineer, you are responsible for:

Designing and developing control valves, safety relief valves, regulators, and related products for nuclear and industrial applications.

Executing design, analysis, and evaluation of assigned projects using sound mechanical engineering principles.

Creating 3D CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation using SolidWorks and related tools.

Reviewing customer specifications and translating requirements into manufacturing instructions.

Adhering to design review processes to ensure accuracy, quality, and manufacturability.

Preparing bills of materials, test specifications, and processing instructions to meet quality and manufacturing requirements.

Supporting manufacturing through material substitution reviews and nonconformance disposition.

Collaborating with global engineering teams to support order execution and resolve engineering issues.

Supporting Sales by providing technical design solutions for complex valve applications.

Analyzing field issues to distinguish between design deficiencies and application‑related concerns.

Maintaining knowledge of applicable codes and standards including ASME, EN, ISA, and Norsok.

Supporting planning, manufacturing, and sourcing organizations during product fulfillment.

Fueling your passion To be successful in this role you are:

Have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in product design, development, or application engineering.

Have experience in control valve or safety valve design, preferably in nuclear or severeservice applications.

Have proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.

Have knowledge of ASME and related codes and standards applicable to valve design.

Have strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

Have effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
