Video Content Creator - Part-Time, Sports Academy - $37,500/year USD
Crossover, Houston, TX, United States
The most compelling content doesn't originate from a planning document. It originates from someone who was present. Texas Sports Academy operates an accelerated academic program integrated with elite athletic training. Each weekday, student‑athletes attend class, train on the field, and work in the gym — moments worth documenting. Your role is to be present, identify the moment, record it, edit, and publish. No studio environment. No approval process. No creative directive. Four to five hours on-site each weekday, then your workday concludes.
We are hiring four individuals — one for each location: Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. You will be responsible for social content at your assigned campus from the start, with follower growth and engagement serving as the direct metrics for your performance. This is a part‑time position: 20–25 hours weekly at $30/hr, on‑site during weekdays. What you create is visible, traceable, and credited to you.
If you are already producing short‑form content that captures attention, apply now.
What You Will Be Doing
Being present on campus 4–5 hours each weekday to document authentic student‑athlete moments using your mobile device
Editing and publishing to TikTok and Instagram Reels on the same day — platform‑appropriate, rapid, and without external dependencies
Analyzing performance metrics weekly (views, engagement, follower count) to determine what performs and the reasons behind it
Modifying hooks, formats, and content direction according to data insights, not solely intuition
Sustaining a reliable daily posting rhythm without interruptions
What You Won’t Be Doing
Following a content calendar created by others — you determine what to film and post
Creating polished content requiring multi‑day production cycles
Awaiting creative approval prior to publishing
Working from a desk; this position is field‑based, mobile device ready, every weekday
