What You’ll Do
Prepare equipment pre‑production drawings and customer room layouts under the direction of sales reps, lead project designer, and customer support.
Maintain project folders and drawing databases.
Complete drawing revisions within the engineering change order (ECO) process.
Update and maintain drafting tools and standard drawings.
Assist in maintaining CAD software updates and help troubleshoot problems with technical support.
Upload drawings to a centralized drawing database for production use.
Provide basic room build mentorship to sales consultants.
Consolidate submittal packages.
Be flexible in job‑related assignments and work overtime to meet project timelines and commitments to ensure deliverables are met.
Advise, assist, and mentor other team members, and participate in collaborative content reviews.
What You’ll Bring Technical Expertise
Proficiency with CAD and design tools such as Revit, AutoDesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
Strong mechanical design focus (~70% mechanical / 30% architectural).
Background in manufacturing engineering, with an emphasis on front‑end design.
Experience
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or
10+ years of hands‑on experience in lieu of a degree.
Skills & Attributes
Highly organized and able to manage multiple project stages.
Strong communication and follow‑up skills.
Comfortable coordinating across teams and managing priorities throughout the design lifecycle.
Estimated Salary Base salary $72,000–$99,000 annually.
