As the Director of Health & Wellness, you’ll play an essential role in enriching the lives of seniors, creating meaningful connections, and making a difference every single day. You will oversee the clinical and care services for our community, leading a team of licensed nurses, care managers, and support staff to ensure residents receive exceptional care and service in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards. Through leadership, communication, and compassion, you will foster a culture of clinical excellence and resident‑centered care. Position Highlights

Status: Full Time Schedule: Typically 8‑hour workdays; on‑call responsibilities required Location: Fully on‑site – Ellicott City, MD Compensation: $115,000–$125,000 base Bonus Eligibility: 10% Annual Target Bonus Travel: 10‑25% What You’ll Do

Clinical Leadership & Compliance Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and ownership standards. Oversee assessments, service plans, and resident health documentation in accordance with state requirements. Monitor clinical outcomes, implement corrective action, and lead quality improvement initiatives. Partner with the Executive Director and department heads to align resident health and safety goals with community operations. Maintain open communication with residents and families regarding changes in care or health status. Resident Care & Services Lead the clinical team in providing exceptional care, including wellness checks, medication management, and service plan updates. Ensure resident service plans are accurate and updated to reflect current health status. Partner with physicians, pharmacy consultants, and allied providers to ensure continuity of care. Support education and engagement of residents and families in the care process. Team Leadership & Development Hire, train, schedule, and supervise nurses, care managers, and other clinical team members. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities for staff. Foster teamwork, accountability, and a culture of compassion and service excellence. Ensure adequate staffing levels, competency training, and clinical supplies to meet resident needs. Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the current state required. Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum 5+ years of senior living nursing experience and one year of nursing leadership experience. Delegating Nurse preferred; must be willing and able to obtain Delegating Nurse (DN) license within 30–60 days of hire. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage a clinical team. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems. Participation in on‑call and Manager on Duty (MOD) coverage required. Benefits
