We’re working with a reputable General Contractor based in Roanoke, VA, who is continuing to expand their footprint across a diverse range of projects. With a strong pipeline covering commercial developments, retail spaces, shopping centres, and restaurant builds, they are looking to add an experienced Superintendent to their growing team.
The Role As Superintendent, you will take full ownership of on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You’ll be the driving force on-site, coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, and keeping projects on track from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily site operations from ground-up through project completion
Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site teams
Drive project schedules and ensure deadlines are met
Enforce safety protocols and maintain compliance on-site
Lead site meetings and provide consistent progress updates
Ensure quality control across all stages of construction
What They’re Looking For
Demonstrated experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction
Experience delivering retail, shopping centre, or restaurant projects is highly desirable
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple trades in fast-paced environments
Solid knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and safety standards
