Marketing Data Segmentation Analyst (Consumer Banking)

Piper Companies seeks a Data Segmentation Analyst to join a leading credit union based in Mclean, VA . The role will contribute to daily analysis and reporting needs through the development, maintenance, and distribution of reports. Job will be onsite 4 days per week in Omaha, NE. Responsibilities Segmentation Analysis: Develop and refine data-driven customer segmentation based on behaviors, demographics, and product usage to support marketing campaigns. Identify high-value customer segments to optimize marketing strategies and deposit growth. Automation & Process Optimization: Design and implement automated workflows for data collection. Data Analysis & Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards to track deposit performance metrics by segment (e.g., balances, attrition, churn). Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with product and marketing teams to design targeted campaigns. Compliance & Data Governance: Ensure all automation and segmentation processes comply with financial regulations and data privacy standards. Use Python and Snowflake to automate data processes. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in consumer lending products acquisition or existing portfolio data analytics, including but not limited to marketing analytics or statistical analysis. Experience in marketing data segmentation in a banking/financial services setting. Hands‑on skills in SQL, Tableau, R, Python, and proficiency working with large datasets. Statistical analysis experience, including A/B testing, time series, and forecasting. Expertise in Data Warehouse and business intelligence-associated tools preferred. Compensation Salary Range: $100,000 – $140,000 (depending on seniority).
