• Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to join our team supporting Food Network, HGTV and Magnolia Network. This role will help grow and engage audiences across the
• Food, Home and Magnolia portfolio on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and Pinterest. The ideal candidate is a hyper-organized, creative individual with a passion for social media, pop culture and the worlds of food, home and lifestyle.
Responsibilities: • Grow and foster engaged social media communities, especially on emerging platforms like TikTok and YouTube, while supporting the Food category in achieving business objectives • Contribute to the day-to-day operations of Food Network's YouTube channel, including video ingestion, optimization and organization, while balancing content priorities and optimizing videos and thumbnails • Create engaging social content for TikTok based on platform trends • Schedule social media posts efficiently and with strong attention to detail • Craft attention-grabbing copy that delivers an exciting and valuable content experience for our followers across multiple platforms • Identify eye-catching videos from influencer and fan accounts to repost on owned platforms • Monitor, respond to and moderate social media conversations • Share community feedback and flag potential issues or opportunities • Review video series and one-off content with an eye toward social performance • Capture live or native footage as needed • Monitor emerging social trends, creators and platform features to identify new opportunities for Food Network, HGTV and Magnolia content
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree • Professional social media experience • Active and engaged participant in social media with in-depth knowledge of platforms, best practices, user dynamics and current trends • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage and execute multiple ongoing projects • Exceptional attention to detail and a habit of checking work for accuracy-once, twice and three times • Creative individual with a passion for social media, food and entertainment • Strong verbal, writing and presentation skills to communicate effectively and on-brand with consumers • Fast, proactive work ethic with the ability to work ahead • Go-getter with an eye on analytics and growth • Savvy social media user and trend-spotter • Solid understanding of digital content, communication and marketing principles • Highly creative, strategic thinker with the ability to develop fresh, executable ideas that support Food category initiatives • Solution-oriented problem solver • Photo and video editing experience with basic design capabilities for social media (knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Premiere is a plus) • Familiarity with web and social media analytics tools (Tubular, Facebook Creator Studio, Twitter Analytics, etc.) • Flexibility for occasional night and weekend work • Must have the legal right to work in the United States
