
E-Billing Specialist

Responsibilities
Kforces client, a professional services organization located in the Saint Louis, MO area, is seeking an experienced E-Billing Specialist to support billing operations and ensure accurate, timely electronic invoice submission. This client offers salary and benefits, hybrid working environment, career growth, team‑oriented work environment, business casual attire, and jeans on non‑meeting days. The position will be hybrid 3 days a week in office, 2 days remotely; training will be conducted in‑office full time.
Submit client invoices through multiple e‑billing platforms and track status within the billing portal.
Monitor daily e‑billing activity, including submissions, approvals, and rejections.
Resolve invoice rejections by coordinating with attorneys, billing teams, and clients.
Review new client matters to determine e‑billing requirements and set‑up needs.
Verify client guidelines, billing rates, and matter configurations in e‑billing systems.
Submit rate requests, budgets, and appeals through vendor portals as required.
Provide invoice status updates to billing leadership.
Support attorneys and billing staff with day‑to‑day e‑billing questions.
Perform additional accounting‑related tasks and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelors or Associates degree preferred, but not required.
3+ years of E‑Billing experience; third‑party e‑billers strongly preferred.
Advanced Excel skills and strong technical/analytical abilities.
Working knowledge of accounting systems and general accounting principles (Aderant, Elite, or similar preferred).
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage high‑volume workloads.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional, client‑service‑oriented approach.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
