We are seeking a Sales Coordinator for our In Room Dining department who will be responsible for taking food and beverage orders over the phone, making menu suggestions, and ensuring a smooth communication flow with Room Service Servers and Managers. This role involves handling different forms of payment, such as room charges, credit cards, and cash, to provide guests with a seamless experience. The Sales Coordinator's interactions with guests directly impact the satisfaction levels of our Room Service service. Qualifications: Minimum of one year of prior experience in the Food & Beverage industry Excellent communication skills, particularly in sales techniques and recommendations Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Good networking abilities and knowledge of hotel operations due to extensive interactions across all hotel departments Responsibilities: Receive and process food and beverage orders via phone, offering menu suggestions and taking special requests Coordinate effectively with Room Service Servers and Managers to ensure timely delivery of orders Handle various forms of payment, including room charges, credit cards, and cash, ensuring accuracy in transactions Engage with guests in a friendly and attentive manner to enhance their overall Room Service experience Utilize networking skills and hotel knowledge to collaborate efficiently with all hotel departments
