Commercial Millwork Estimator

Oxford Solutions is working with a client to hire a Commercial Millwork Estimator for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is focused on preparing accurate bids for commercial millwork projects while working closely with contractors, vendors, and internal teams. Responsibilities: Review drawings and specifications to understand project scope Prepare takeoffs and cost estimates for millwork components Gather and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Identify scope gaps, risks, and cost considerations Support bid submissions and project handoff to internal teams Build and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and partners

Qualifications: 3-7 years of estimating experience in millwork, woodworking, or construction Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings Knowledge of millwork materials and fabrication processes Experience working with general contractors or subcontractors Proficiency with estimating tools (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar) and Excel Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred: Experience on commercial projects Familiarity with industry standards (AWI) Related degree or technical training
