AI 2030 is seeking a
Head of Events
to lead the strategy, design, and execution of a world‑class global events portfolio.
This role is not just about logistics—it is about building one of the most influential AI convening platforms in the world, driving thought leadership, partnerships, revenue, and community engagement.
You will own the end‑to‑end events function—from flagship summits to curated executive roundtables to thought‑provocative online convenings—and play a critical role in positioning AI 2030 as the
#1 global platform for Responsible AI collaboration .
Key Responsibilities 1. Global Event Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
Design and execute AI 2030’s global events strategy across:
Flagship events (e.g., Chicago AI Week, AI Summit in 6 major cities)
Industry-specific forums (FSI, Healthcare, Public Sector)
Executive roundtables and leadership councils
Scale to 10+ high‑impact events annually across key global markets
Define themes aligned with Responsible AI, applied AI, and emerging tech (e.g., agentic AI, AI governance, AI infrastructure)
2. Signature Event Execution
Lead end‑to‑end execution of major events (150–500+ attendees):
Venue sourcing and partner‑hosted events (corporates, universities, etc.)
Agenda design focused on real‑world implementation (not theory)
Speaker curation (CXOs, policymakers, investors, founders)
Ensure exceptional attendee experience and brand consistency
3. Partnership & Sponsorship Development
Build and manage relationships with:
Corporate sponsors (hyperscalers, consulting firms, financial institutions)
Academic partners (MIT, UIUC, Harvard, etc.)
Government and multilateral organizations
Develop sponsorship packages and drive
event‑driven revenue growth
Collaborate with AI 2030 Ventures and Institute teams to integrate sponsors into broader ecosystem offerings
4. Speaker & Content Leadership
Curate high‑caliber speaker pipelines (CAIOs, CTOs, regulators, VCs)
Design agendas that focus on:
AI deployment at scale
Responsible AI in practice
Industry‑specific transformation
Ensure every session answers: "What is реально being implemented?"
5. Community & Ecosystem Growth
Leverage events to:
Grow AI 2030 membership
Activate global fellows, councils, and working groups
Support startup‑investor matchmaking (accelerator integration)
Drive engagement, retention, and conversion
6. Operations, Systems & Innovation
Build scalable event operations:
Tools: Luma, Circle, HubSpot, Zapier, CRM integrations
Automated workflows (registration → engagement → follow‑up)
Introduce AI‑powered event capabilities:
Smart networking
AI‑generated content & recaps
Personalized attendee journeys
Key Metrics (KPIs)
10+ global events annually
2,000+ attendees across events
Sponsorship revenue growth
Membership conversion (event → member → paid)

Qualifications
Required
8–12+ years in events, partnerships, or ecosystem building
Proven experience leading large‑scale conferences (300+ attendees)
Strong network across AI, tech, startups, or enterprise sectors
Experience securing and managing sponsors and partners
Exceptional project management and execution skills
Preferred
Experience in AI, emerging tech, or innovation ecosystems
Background in venture, consulting, or startup ecosystems
Familiarity with tools like Luma, HubSpot, Zapier, Circle
Experience working with global, multi‑stakeholder environments
